Terms of Use
These terms are an agreement between you and Saikaizen Innovations ("we", "us") for the game Maple Falls: Murder Mystery ("the game"). By installing or playing the game you accept them. If you do not agree, please uninstall the game.
1. Who can play
The game is intended for players aged 16 and over. It contains crime themes, references to violence and blood, and mature story moments. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you need a parent or guardian's permission to make purchases.
2. Your licence
We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to download and play the game on devices you own or control, for your own non-commercial entertainment. You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, resell or redistribute the game or its content, or use cheats, bots or modified versions to get around its purchases, ads or limits.
3. Virtual items and currency
Coins, gems, coffee, hints, ⭐ Special content, passes and other virtual items are a limited licence to use features inside the game. They have no real-world value, cannot be exchanged for money or anything outside the game, and cannot be transferred. We may change the game's balance, prices of virtual items and features to keep the game fair and working. Your progress and items are saved on your device; uninstalling the game or clearing its data may delete them, and we cannot restore items that were lost this way (purchases of one-time items and active subscriptions can be restored with "Restore purchases").
4. Purchases and subscriptions
- All purchases are made through Google Play and are subject to Google Play's terms and refund policy. Refund requests go to Google Play (https://support.google.com/googleplay/answer/2479637).
- VIP is an auto-renewing subscription (monthly or yearly). A free trial, where offered, is available once per Google account; if you do not cancel before the trial ends, the subscription starts and you are charged. Cancel any time in Play Store → Profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions; VIP stays active until the end of the period you paid for.
- Prices are shown in the game before you buy and may differ by country and change over time.
- Consumable items (gems, coffee, hints) are delivered when you buy them and are not restorable once used.
5. Ads
The free game shows ads served by Google AdMob, described in our Privacy Policy. Rewarded videos are optional. VIP removes interstitial and banner ads.
6. Content and availability
New cases, events and features may be added, changed or removed. Some content may need an internet connection to download. We try to keep the game available, but we do not guarantee it will always be available, error-free or compatible with every device.
7. Fiction
The game is fiction. Names, characters, places and events are invented; any resemblance to real people, places or events is coincidental. "Maple Falls" in the game is a fictional town.
8. Intellectual property
The game, its story, characters, art, music, voices and code belong to us or our licensors and are protected by copyright and other laws. Fonts and other third-party components are used under their own licences.
9. Disclaimer and limitation of liability
The game is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all implied warranties, and we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for loss of data or virtual items. Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that cannot be waived.
10. Ending these terms
You can stop at any time by uninstalling the game. We may suspend or end your licence if you break these terms (for example by cheating or fraudulent purchases).
11. Changes
We may update these terms. We will post the new version here with a new effective date. If you keep playing after a change, the new terms apply.
12. Law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. If you are a consumer in the EU, UK or another country whose laws give you the right to bring claims in your home courts or under your local law, you keep that right.
