Who we are
Mera POS is a billing (point-of-sale) app for shops. Contact: superprogrammersaurabh@gmail.com.
Data stored on your phone
Mera POS stores your shop's data only on your device: products, stock, customers and their khata (credit) balances, bills, expenses, staff and attendance, and settings. We do not run a server that receives this data.
Data we collect
- Usage analytics (Firebase Analytics): anonymous events such as "sale completed", "receipt shared", the payment method used and the number of items. No customer names, phone numbers, product names or amounts tied to a person are sent.
- Crash reports (Firebase Crashlytics): technical details when the app crashes (device model, OS version, app version, stack trace).
These are processed by Google (Firebase) under Google's privacy terms and are used only to improve the app.
Ads (free version)
The free version shows ads from Google AdMob (no ads in the first 3 days, never while you are making a bill, and none with Mera POS Pro). To show and measure ads, AdMob may collect your device's advertising ID, approximate location derived from your IP address, and device and app information, and may use cookies-like identifiers. In the EEA, UK and other regions where the law requires it, Mera POS asks for your consent first using Google's consent form; you can change your choice later from the app's ad privacy settings. How Google uses this data: https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites. You can reset or delete your advertising ID in Android Settings → Google → Ads.
Purchases (Mera POS Pro)
Subscriptions are bought and managed through Google Play. Google processes the payment; we never see your card, UPI or bank details. The app only learns whether your subscription is active. Cancel any time in Google Play → Payments & subscriptions.

Sharing
We never sell or rent your data. Ad data goes to Google AdMob as described above. When you share a bill, khata statement, reminder or backup (for example on WhatsApp), it goes only where you send it.
Backups
The app keeps daily backup copies on your phone. Android may copy app data, including these backups, to your own Google account (Android Backup). We never receive your backups.
Children
Mera POS is meant for shop owners and is not directed at children under 13.
Your choices
You can delete all data by uninstalling the app or clearing its storage. For questions or deletion requests about analytics data, email superprogrammersaurabh@gmail.com.

We will update this page if this policy changes and change the date above.
